What can I do to fix my phobia of dancing?

I have a party next weekend where there’s going to be a dance party. I want to go and hang out, but I am SO afraid of dancing in front of people. Even when I was like, 10, I was too embarrassed to dance and over the years it has just gotten worse. All I can think about is how stupid I look and how much I’m embarrassing myself. I really do think I have a phobia of dancing. How can I fix it?

 

Is dancing a way to exercise and help relax your mind?

I’ve been receiving some advice (thank you all) that walking, reading, and drinking tea are good ways to relax. Also exercising and yoga are as well. Would dancing also help relieve mental stress? I’ve never tried yoga and don’t belong to a gym, so I was wondering if I danced up a good sweat in my room for a half hour to an hour if that would work?
