Can a club use video of my wife and I dancing in a TV commerical without our permission?

We recently went to a local club and a couple of weeks later we get a call from friends saying that there was video of us dancing on their TV commercials! We knew there was a camera there but did not worry about it. We are the parents of three and only go out a couple of times a year and don’t want this sort of thing. What can I do? Can I force them to take it off or threaten asking for compensation?
